Vintage painted drum and beater, Native American, created by a member of the Sioux tribe (Plains Indian). The drum was constructed of rawhide stretched over a wood cylinder and is hand painted on both sides with pictographic elements including Thunderbird and abstract motifs. Custom display stand is included and overall measurements as displayed are (in inches): 16 ¼ H x 13 ¾ W x 6 De. The drum alone measures 14 ¼ inches in diameter x 4 ½ inches, depth.
