19th century Native American Beaded Child's Moccasins, Cheyenne (Plains Indian), circa 1880s. Native tanned hide with glass trade beads in red, white, yellow, blue, pink and green. Each moccasin measures 3 ? x 2 ¾ x 7 inches. Width of both side by side as displayed is 5 ¾ inches

The Cheyenne originally migrated with the buffalo herds and their territory encompassed much of the Great Plains of the United States including present day Minnesota, Montana, Oklahoma, and parts of Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota.
