The artist referred to this mixed media assemblage as a "Sun Painting." It is comprised of a number of botanical elements including wild Iris leaves, milkweed, Sumac leaves, bluebird feathers and more. She collected these elements from all over the country and this particular piece has elements collected in Colorado, New Mexico, Connecticut, Washington, Oregon and California.
