Southwest

The Southwest, an area encompassing Arizona, New Mexico, Western Texas, Northern Mexico, and Baja California, is typically arid and warm. The sedentary Pueblo peoples and the semi-nomadic Navajo are its most famous residents. Common art forms include pottery, jewelry, and basketry, often with motifs relating to water and rain.
