Southeast

The Southeast culture area is comprised of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, the Carolinas, and Virginia. Tribes include Cado, Chickasaw, Cherokee, Creek, Choctaw, Seminole, Biloxi, Ofo and Pensacola. This was one of the first areas of North America to experience European contact. Common art forms include bandolier bags and other beadwork.
