Three Sisters of the Elk Scraper Society, female Cheyenne figures with umbrellas and baby in a cradle board by contemporary Native American artist, James Black, The Elk Scraper Society is This is an initiation for a new member as there are always three unmarried women who are members of this society. When a woman marries, she leaves and a new member is iniated to the Elk Scrapers.
